We recently added an F800R to the fleet and are getting it ready for rental now. The F800R is BMW's newest middleweight sport oriented motorcycle and is fully equipped with ABS, Garmin GPS, Heated Grips, Flyscreen, Engine Protection Bars, Saddlebags and Top Case. Priced at $140 per day (plus tax and insurance), the F800R is a sporty, economical alternative to the bigger GSs.

Break away after the holidays for a bit of fun. This will be a 3 or 4 day ride tentatively scheduled for the 20th, 21st, 22nd & 23nd. The goal is to scout a route for the next Santa Rosa BMW shop ride so destinations and accomodations will be decided on the fly, but we will be heading south to catch some warmer weather. It will definitely be a mix of pavement and dirt so it should be fun. No charge for the ride, you supply the bike and pay all your expenses. Bikes for rent if needed...

This bike has been sold but we will be selling (2) more '09 R1200GSs late next summer so keep an eye on our site if you are interested.

We are selling one of our rental R1200GS motorcycles - time to replace it with a new one!

It is a 2008 with approximately 16,000 miles and has ABS, Spoke Wheels, Engine Protection Bars, Heated Grips, On Board Computer and Jesse Saddlebags. The bike is in excellent condition, has been maintained as per factory recommendations by Santa Rosa BMW and needs nothing.

As you can see, we have launched our second generation website to serve our customers better. While it has a similar look and feel, the technology behind the site is radically improved. Based on an open source content management system called Drupal, the site is significantly easier to update and will allow us to have a constant flow of fresh information. It will also allow us to easily add Twitter and Facebook integration as well as host a ride experience forum - look for these and more new features in the upcoming months.

Starting in mid June, Adventure Touring and Santa Rosa BMW will be hosting a series of 2 day rides that will explore some of the greatest roads in Northern California. The rides will be held the 2nd weekend of June through October and will be open to anyone that is interested in coming. The riding will range from tight twisty mountain passes to dirt and gravel fire roads and an adventure type motorcycle is highly recommended. Think BMW GS, Triumph Tiger, Suzuki VStrom and you will get the idea.

We added two BMW GS motorcycles to the rental fleet recently, a new 2009 G650GS and a new 2010 R1200GS Adventure.
